Speed up data entry by using pre-defined drop-down lists. Then in the field, simply select one or many options from the list.
We know that sometimes you come across random stuff out there. That’s why we can build in an “Other” option for the times when the pre-defined lists don’t quite fit. Simply tick “Other” and enter your free-text description to ensure your data reflects the true story.
Specify minimum and maximum values for numeric attributes so that your data is validated at the point-of-entry.

Doing full flora surveys or other attribute rich monitoring?
Your time in the field is valuable. We appreciate that sometimes it’s just quicker to scribe your data on paper rather than scroll through endless species lists.
How image-to-text transcription works?
- We can set up your app so that you can photograph your completed data sheet in the field. Giving you an instantaneous back-up copy of your valuable data.
- Then we’ll run it through our AI transcriber. It’ll glean the data from your forms.
- Finally we’ll validate the data and return it to your app ready for reporting.
- Alternatively, if you’ve already got a backlog of existing data, simply snap your paper forms into your app and we’ll run it through the same process.
Voice to text
Doing observational surveys where you need to keep your eyes up while recording?
Make your surveys much more cost effective by replacing the need for a scribe with our voice to text service.
How voice-to-text transcription works?
- We can set up your app so that you record your observations as a voice memo in the field.
- Then we’ll run it through our AI transcriber. It’ll do it’s best to convert your memo into words.
- A member of our team will check that the observations produced by the AI transcriber make sense (we’ll get back you to verify any curly entries!)
- Finally we’ll return the observational data to your app ready for your reporting.
QR code labels
If your equipment doesn’t have a barcode we can provide sequential QR code stickers to tag your field equipment. Then simply scan the code using your phone to tag data to that device. Our stickers are also small enough for SD cards, making them a great way to keep track of data from wildlife cameras and audio recorders.
